Thank you!

Thank you for all the support you've given the Climbing Rose Young Adult line of The Wild Rose Press. We've been getting some fabulous reviews for our Climbing Rose stories. Here's what people are saying:

Trisha's Tablet--When Mike Kissed Emma by Christine Marciniak

"I really enjoyed this book. It's very short for YA, only 160 pages, but reading it reminded me that short, simple books can be really enjoyable. It has a great cast of characters from dreamy Biker Mike, to the boyfriend who seems perfect but really isn't, to a jealous best friend and a difficult sister."
A Chair, a Fireplace & A Tea Cozy--When Mike Kissed Emma by Christine Marciniak

"On the one hand, it's about a high school play and the drama that goes on around it. It could be almost any play; and any play with a romance for Mike and Emma to play against each other and fall in love. Marciniak makes use of this particular play, The Sound of Music: the dialogue, dance scenes, songs, all are not only woven into the story but also illustrate and illuminate points along the way."
Once Upon a Romance--Saddle Up, Sweetheart by Sydney Shay

"It was a very quick read, but a story with a lot of character and emotion put into it. While the page count is short, the story is as good as a full-length novel. I was impressed at how well it stands alone since I didn’t realize I read the sequel first. I’m looking forward to going back and reading the first book about the Lucky Lake Ranch, The Noel Bandit."
Seriously Reviewed--House of Wacks by Denise Gwen

"A great little page turner to add to the YA line in any library. The trials and tribulations of teen years can be difficult......Okay, okay, they are difficult. For everyone. The teen, parents, friends. It's all about finding out who you are, coming into your own, growing up and taking responsibility. This story did a wonderful job at covering all the bases."
And finally, from Teens Read Too--Krysta's Curse by Tara West
"KRYSTA'S CURSE is the third book in the WHISPERS trilogy, about three friends who all have paranormal powers and must face the truths about themselves. Filled with danger, the fast pace of the novel made it hard to put down."
Pretty cool! Check out the Climbing Rose store to pick up your copy of all these fun stories!
