Thank you!

Thank you for all the support you've given the Climbing Rose Young Adult line of The Wild Rose Press. Our stories are still available on The Wild Rose Press website, however, since we aren't publishing new stories, our blog is no longer active. We thank you again for the time you spent with us and invite you to visit our Climbing Rose bookstore.

The Reviews Are In!

Two great reviews for two of my favorite stories (all the Climbing Rose stories can be my favorite stories, right?). Anyway, it's nice to see reviewers agreeing with me about how special these stories are!

Diana Coyle at Night Owl Romance had this to say about When Mike Kissed Emma by Christine Marciniak:

Ms. Marciniak has a way with her writing that not only entertains young adults, but also adults alike. I found myself flipping the pages as quickly as possible to find out what was going to happen next to everyone. This is a perfect story to pick up for those young adults in your life. I’m sure they’ll enjoy it as much as I did reviewing it!

And Snapdragon over at Long and Short Reviews raved about The Chronicles of Casey V by Laurie Larsen:

In my view, this is the ideal young adult romance; it’s a time when love should be woozy and breathless for everybody. It’s also remarkably contemporary, with a very real, ‘today’ sort of sense.
...
It’s also simply fun; the summer at camp brings a certain sense of escapism, as well as sharing all the fun activities. It’s a light and effervescent tale and Larsen manages to maintain this bouncy style/atmosphere throughout
And Snapdragon also loved the cover for Casey V:

I’d be remiss not to note the great cover art here. Love the designs, the color, and how it so well represents the atmosphere of the story.
A cover designed by our own Kimberlee R. Mendoza, by the way. (All the covers can be my favorite covers, right?)

Thanks Blaize! It's always great to read good reviews (and totally pretend that the other kind don't exist! :)
