The home of martial arts as we know it

While you're reading this, I am still exploring the streets of Hong Kong, even though I should be at home, getting ready for the release of my first book, Enter The Parrot.

Hong Kong is *the* place for martial arts. Martial arts movies as we know it draw from the long, rich tradition of Hong Kong cinemas, and many great kung fu legends, from Bruce Lee to Jackie Chan, got their start here. When you walk through the streets, it's easy to see why. This place is teeming with life and a hunger to make things happen.
You can easily imagine martial arts heroes flying from rooftop to rooftop, chasing the bad guys...
Or maybe that's just me?

But kung fu is everywhere, you just have to know where to look for it.
Jade, the unlikely heroine of Enter The Parrot, sure didn't expect her little town in California to be home to a secret kung fu society...
So look around your own home town. Where would the kung fu heroes gather? Or just as importantly, where is the perfect place for the villains to stage an epic showdown battle?

Hong Kong is one of those places everyone must go and visit, I reckon.
